Lincoln Book Festival - what a pleasure!

'When a fellow author at one of these events buys your book, you know you've either said or written something right.'

What a great pleasure to be at The Lincoln Book Festival! A real welcome from the city, the sponsors and the readers of Lincolnshire. Also, a warm welcome from the writers of Lincolnshire. Great to meet Margaret Dickinson, Sue Allan and Karen Maitland; also from further afield Val McDermid, Sophie Hannah as well as genealogy guru Dr Nick Barratt.

Outside of the formal sessions, there was a great buzz about the Festival, which brought writers and readers together in many informal settings. A Habit Of Dying was well received by those attending both the Crime Dinner on Thursday evening and at the book signing following Friday's presentation.

A huge thanks goes to the Festival sponsors, volunteers and organisers for putting on a great event, often in very challenging circumstances.
