A Book at Brunch

A great reception from the people of North Queens for A Habit Of Dying.

The first public outing in Canada for the novel was at The Whitman Inn, near Kempt, Nova Scotia, after a book launch breakfast on April 16th. Around twenty people enjoyed a breakfast and then a talk about the novel. Author DJ Wiseman emphasised the part that Canada had played in his own family history and how much of the story had been written during stays in Nova Scotia.

There was some lively discussion and several questions following the informal presentation, after which guests were able to have copies of their books signed.

The Whitman has recently been acquired by Monika and Herbert Hoehn. Many thanks to them for putting on a great breakfast in their lovely Inn.
